YCS Barcelona: The Prophecy

Hello Guys and Girls!

I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas.

In today's blog post I will be talking about the deck I used at YCS Barcelona. Which is none other than Prophecy.

In the end I went 5-2 on day 1. Losing only round 6 due to vying stalled in between game 1 and game 2. Then losing round 7 due to being a bit on tilt and a Rabbit player opening the nuts game one and three.

Despite that I was 63rd by the end of day one and I had an enjoyable weekend.

So what I will be posting is the deck list, what each card can be used for and a how to play segment.

So look forward to these posts!

YCS Barcelona - Day 0

After arriving at the airport for midnight of Thursday night I met up with a few friends.

Had several test play matches and won all of them. Played against Wind-Ups OXO, Dark Worlds OO, Vayu Turbo OO. Learnt some new tricks from these games which is very nice.

After waiting for 4:50am to roll round checked in and bumped into some more peeps I know. Now waiting to board the plane and get this weekend started!

Peace.

How To YuGiOh: Mermail Edition! Getting to know the Mermail Engine!

How To YuGiOh: Mermail Edition!
Next up we will get to know the Mermail engine.

The Mermails Engine

Mermail Abyssmegalo
The Boss monster of the deck.
Special summons itself from the hand by discarding 2 water monster. This cost triggers Atlanteans.
On summon it searches for an Abyss Spell/Trap and can attack twice by tributing a face up water monster you control.

Standard search target is Abyssphere, also the tribute for the double attack triggers Atlantean as well.

Abyssphere
Continuous trap card. When activated it summons any Mermail from the deck. During their opponents next end phase the target is destroyed. They cannot use spells the turn they use it. They normally activate it during their opponents end phase for an instant search, combos with Abysslinde.

Mermail Abysslinde
The recruiter of the deck. When it is destroyed, it summons any mermail from the deck. Normal target summon from her effect is Mermail Abyssmegalo.

Mermail Abysspike
The Stratos of the deck. Discards one card from hand, when it is summoned, then searches for any Lv 3 Water from the deck.

Standard targets:

• Marksman
• Undine

How To YuGiOh: Mermail Edition! Getting to know the Undine Engine!

How To YuGiOh: Mermail Edition!
Getting to know the cards!

This weekend will be posts covering how to deal with the Mermail decks that are appearing now since the release of Abyss Rising.

These guys pack a punch from the deep and not knowing how they work / how to counter them doesn't help you beat them!

The Deck
Mermail decks are made up from several engines
• Atlantean
• Deepsea Diva
• Genex Undine
• Of course, Mermail ( D'uh )

First lets see the cards in the Atlanteans / Undine Engine and get to know them first.

Atlanteans
Atlanteans Dragoon -
The searcher for the deck. Adds 1 Sea-Serpent from the Deck to the Hand when used for a cost of a Water Monster. ( All Atleanteans trigger like this )

The Main Search targets:
• Abyss Megalo
• Deep Sea Diva
• Moulinglace

Whilst its on the field it lets the other level 3 or Lower Atlanteans attack directly, usually combo'd with Atlantean Marksman.

Atlantean Marksman
Destroys 1 Face down card when used for the cost of a Water Monster.
Whilst on the field, it can Special summon another Atlantean from deck when it deals damage.

Atlantean Heavy Infantry
Destroys 1 Face up card when used for the cost of a Water Monster.
Whilst its on the field, it allows for an additional normal summon for Sea Serpent. Combos with Deep Sea Diva. It can be a easy out with Diva.

The Genex

Genex Undine
When Normal Summon, it sends a water monster from the deck to the Graveyard to add Genex Controller Dom the deck to the Hand.

Sending the Water Monster is a cost. So Undine will trigger the Atlanteans it sends.

Genex Controller
Vanilla level 3 Tuner.
Does nothing in the deck other than being there for Undine's effect. Players also use it as an Allure of Darkness Target.

A copy of this must be in the deck for Undine's effect to work. No copies: then Undine can't work.

Next up with be getting to know the Mermails! Stay Tuned.

Spectral Joker.

YCS Seattle - Madolche Progress

So far from Seattle we have seen one feature match showcase Madolche. The guy running Madolche is Alexander Thomas, who went 9-0 at his regionals with Madolche (post-ABYR!)

The guy played a Madolche stun build with a heavy amount of tech cards. The build hasn't sit well with many Madolche players but seems like It worked for Alex.

Alex is currently 77th in Swiss after say one and makes his way to day two, but there's been a bit of turmoil about him.

Seems in the feature match he misplayed or "cheated" according to some people. He used Queen Madolche eff without any target in grave. Which is believe to be illegal.

So not sure what's going on but we will get some clarification at some point!

Best of luck to Alex never the less. Just read your cards in further mate. ;)

Madolche Card Review - Madolche Queen Tiaramisu

Well we are finally here. We have cover all the support and all the members of the Madolche family. Now we only have the Queen of the Madolche monsters left. The wait is worth it, this Queen put the Boss in Boss Monster. Please bow for the Queen - Madolche Queen Tiaramisu

Madolche Queen Tiaramisu
Types Fairy/Xyz/Effect
Rank ****
ATK/DEF 2200/2100
Materials 2 Level 4 "Madolche" Monsters

Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target up to 2 "Madolche" cards in your Graveyard; shuffle those cards into the Deck, then shuffle cards your opponent controls into the Deck, up to the number of cards returned.

Right stats first!

She needs two Madolche level 4 monster to be summoned. Sadly in a pure build this can take 2 turns to bring her out, but I will be looking at ways to bring her out in one turn in later posts.

Standing at 2200 ATK, she isn't the biggest rank 4 monster out there. When she's at home in the Chateau she does become 2700ATK. Impressive now isn't she? Her ATK rivals that of Gorz and Grapha (Without Gates of the Dark World up), she also over looks Gear Gigant X, Light Pulsar, Abyssmegalo and even Machina Fortress.

She also a Fairy-Type. Meaning you special summon anything added by Madolche Ticket, plus her effect can trigger ticket as well.

Now lets talk about her effect. Just by detaching one Material from her and targeting two Madolche card(s) (she can target Madolche Spell and Traps as well as Madolche Monster(s)) you return those targets to your deck and then you can return, up to the same amount of cards you return, cards your opponent controls to their deck! Meaning she nets a nice +2 with her effect. With putting stuff back in their deck; your opponent cannot easily use those cards again.

Now shall we increase the plus she can give you? Yes I said increase.

If you have Chateau activate and you select 1 or 2 monster in the graveyard those monsters will be added to your hand instead of the deck! So by selecting two monsters in your grave she can net you a maximum of a +4. She is amazing.

Now a ruling tip, even if you return the monster to your hand you still can shuffle cards back on your opponents field because she doesn't care if your targets go back to the deck as she is worded "up to the number of cards returned." We'll putting them back in your hand is still returning!

Now a second ruling. Her effect doesn't target cards on your opponents field. The only targeting she does is selecting stuff in your graveyard to shuffle back. Meaning you target the cards you want to shuffle back and now your opponent must chain their Veilers, Fiendish Chains etc Otherwise if they ask targets or let you pick what to shuffle back it's too late. Meaning you can hit whatever they leave on the field without having the worry of them chaining.

Also fun fact she won't trigger Machina Fortress effect (Her effect doesnt target; apart from what she selects in your graveyard) and you don't even have to select anything. If you want Monsters back your hand then you can just use her effect still!

Now for a negative ruling. You must have at least one target in graveyard to use her effect. You cannot detach a material if no Madolche card(s) exist in your graveyard, but if you have one target already in your graveyard you can target the material you detached as one of the targets for her effect!

If she is sent to the graveyard you can use a second copy of herself to shuffle the first one, in your graveyard, back to the extra deck! Also Chateau will put her back into the extra when you activate it!

But if she is the only card returned by either of those effects it will not activate ticket. Ticket needs the monster to end up in either your hand or main deck. So remember that!

And with that I will bring this post to a close. Thank you very much for reading and especially if you read all of the Madolche Card reviews.

Cosmic Blazer doesn't look to have any new Madolche Cards, but we have yet to see TCG exclusives. So there is still hope yet.

What will I do now? I shall post my deck list for my current build. I will also post other deck lists for different ways to play Madolche and will cover any other ruling / tricks I have missed.

Till then, Spectral Joker
Signing off.

Madolche Card Review - Madolche Ticket

Last time we had a look at the party held by the Madolche Royals. Today we will be looking at: how do we get our invite to the party? The answer is simple. We need a Madolche Ticket!

Madolche Ticket
Spell Card Continuous

When a "Madolche" card(s) is returned from your side of the field or Graveyard to your hand or Main Deck by a card effect: Add 1 "Madolche" monster from your Deck to your hand. If you control a face-up Fairy-Type "Madolche" monster, you can Special Summon the monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position instead of adding it to your hand. You can only use the effect of "Madolche Ticket" once per turn.

The new spell card for Madolches, from Abyss Rising, doesn't disappoint in the slightest.

Now whilst this card is face-up, the first time a Madolche card is returned by a card effect from the field or graveyard to the Main Deck or hand then you can search for a new Madolche.

Keep in mind this effect is Mandatory. You must use the effect when a Madolche is first returned in a turn.

Also even if you control two or more copies of ticket: you use one per turn. Due to the last lines wording. So never have two activate, as it doesn't give you any extra searches.

Now what can trigger the search ability?
Well all the Madolche's first effect trigger it. So the whole Archtype triggers this card which is brilliant!

Queen Madolche and Cruffssant both trigger this card with their effects, likewise does Madolchepalooza when / if it bounces anything back during the end phase of the turn it is used.

Also if your maid is flipped and returns a Madolche Spell / Trap from your graveyard to your hand then Ticket will trigger. As ticket saids card(s) and not monster(s)!

Remember Chateau also works with this card. As it returns any Madolche monsters in the graveyard back to the deck, then it's other effect ( where any Madolche monster returned to the deck can be added back to the hand instead ) still also would trigger ticket!

Other cards you can use are compulsory evacuation device and such other effects.

Now what can't trigger this card? Things such as Genex Birdman and Mist Valley solider won't trigger this effect if they bounce a Madolche card because those are both costs and ticket states when a effect would return a Madolche card. Costs aren't effects!

Last bit of rules about this card is that it cannot miss timing. As its a mandatory effect. So after the effect that returned a Madolche card is resolved, ticket effect will happen!

Now the last part of the effect is a powerful extra. If you control a fairy-type Madolche Monster, (Such as Puddingcess or Madolche Queen) you can Special Summon the card you search with ticket in face-up attack instead of adding it to you hand.

What can you do from here? Maybe Special Summon a messenger from your deck for a search? Or grab a beater like Cruffssant or even Special Summon Puddingcess from your deck to get rid of some problem cards!

Ill talk more about Queen in the next post, but her effect can trigger ticket and as she is a fairy, let you special summon from ticket. She the perfect combo piece for ticket!

This card can be searched by Messenger and Maid. So easy to search and recycle.

Run 2, as multiple copies cannot be used in a turn extra copies in hand can be dead. It's easy to search so 2 feels just right with me.

Till next time

Madolche Card Review - Madolchepalooza

Before we cover the Queen of all cakes and sweets, we will be looking at the party Madolches hold within the royal household and the invite spell sent out for this fiesta.

It's time to raise your glasses of punch for a toast. I welcome you all to the Madolchepalooza!

Trap Card
Special Summon any number of "Madolche" monsters from your hand, but shuffle them into the Deck during the End Phase.

This effect is pretty simple and sweet. All pun intended of course.

Normally with Madolches you will have a large hand of Monsters. With not many ways of getting them all out to the field, this card covers them for the fact they don't swarm much.

You can call this a I.win.button for them. Throwing down anywhere from 1 to 5 monsters is super aggressive.

Allowing you to get that extra monster out for a Queen Madolche play. Or summoning a beast Madolche and getting multiple Messenger searches, maybe looking for that Ticket and Chateau you need? To even just summoning your hand so you can go for a large swing.

Few tricks you can do with this care are:
Summoning Magileine, adding a card to hand, then special that card and any other you want.
Using tickets effect in the same way mention above.
Playing it as a Defense trap, using during your opponents turn to wall them from hitting you (caution: as you will lose monsters this way)
Bouncing a monster for your little Puppy and then bringing it straight back into the game!

Now this card sadly has a draw back. During the end phase it is used: all the Madolches summoned by its effect will go back to your deck. Partys cannot last forever.

Now this drawback does trigger Tickets effect. Meaning you can gain 1 monster back, but sadly Chateau doesn't help here. As Chateau only adds card back to your hand if they are returned from your grave to the deck.

(Any Madolche sent to the graveyard that were summoned by this effect won't bounce back during the end phase)

Now how do we get round this draw back? Well whilst all your guests are partying how about making them into a few XYZ summons? If they become material they will be sticking around a lot longer well after the party ends!

This card is powerful but if only played right. Be careful of backrows as well. A Bottomless Trap Hole will hit all 1500+ Madolche as they are summoned at the same time, so chose the perfect time to play this or your party may not have any guests that can attend. Not to mention Torrential Tribute will hurt too, but if you have Chateau out at least all your party attends will just go back to your hand.

I suggest running 0-1, 2 is the max I would suggest.

Next we will be looking at our party invite. Till then,

Spectral Joker signing out.

Madolche Card Review - Cruffssant

Next up is the third Pet of the Madolcbe Household. Madolche Cruffssant!

Madolche Cruffssant

Attribute EARTH
Types Beast/Effect
Level ***
ATK/DEF 1500/1200

When this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into the Deck. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up "Madolche" card you control, except this card; return it to the hand, and if you do, increase this card's Level by 1 and ATK by 300.

As always first up lets look at his stats.
Standing at a reasonable 1500ATK, 2000ATK under Chateau, makes him a standard beater in Madolche's. This cute dog has a few tricks under his hat!

By using his effect you not only level him up by one level, but you can also increase his attack by 300ATK. Making him 1800ATK and 2300ATK under Chateau. Meaning he is one of the biggest beaters Madolche's have (Even Cyber Dragon can't hit this little guy).

He is also a beast type, meaning Messenger has a new buddy to work with. Sadly he doesn't help Messenger get summoned, but we can't have it all.

Now with the ability to level change this guy can set up some versatile XYZ plays. Want to make a Rank 3 with Mew? No problem. Want to make a Madolche Queen? Summon this guy with any other level 4 put and bounce a card. Done. If you run Puddingcess, you can use this guy for two turns to make him level 5 and go for that Rank 5.

Oh yes, did I mention his effect stacks from turn to turn? Meaning each turn he gains 300ATK and a level as long as you bounce a card.

Now what cards can, should you, bounce? Well he can bounce anything Madolche. So Chateau and Ticket are good choice. (Speaking of ticket: he can trigger its effect if you bounce a monster with ticket Face-Up)
Monster wise bouncing a Mew or Magileine to hand to use its effect again is too good. Even bouncing Messager back to your hand, if you have Mew in hand, allows for more plays! Even Maid works with him, bounce her and then reset her for more clean up recycling!

As always he's searchable by Magileine and Sangan.

Sadly BTH can hit him, and bouncing monsters gives up field present but he helps so many combos I would recommend him highly.

Run 2-3 in most builds.

Madolche Card Review - Marmalmaide

The next card from Abyss Rising is the second servant of the royal household. Butlerusk builds the Chateau and their maid clears up the old used Chateaus. Let me introduce - Madolche Marmalmaide!

Madolche Marmalmaide
Attribute EARTH
Types Spellcaster/Effect
Level ****
ATK/DEF 800/2000

When this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into the Deck. When this card is flipped face-up: You can target 1 "Madolche" Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand.

Let's talk about her stats first. Her 800 ATK, 1300 ATK under Chateau, isn't much to go on. You won't see her taking down beaters but on the flip side, most beaters won't be hitting over her. She boasts an impressive 2000 DEF and 2500 DEF under Chateau. Making stuff like Alius, Thunderking, Cyber Dragon, Light Pular and even Number 39 unable to get pass her.

Her main purpose is to be a searchable wall and to stall out your opponent for those few turns you need. She is a good first turn set, especially if you play Chateau or Ticket to bait out a MST. Now why do you want your key cards the target of MST?

Well because of her effect! When she is flipped face-up she basically acts like a Mask of Darkness / Magician Of Faith for any Madolche card in your grave.

So if you set her and play Ticket, then if your opponent MST's the ticket and attacks Maid; you can then fetch back Ticket and Maid should survive. Meaning you've made a +1 and baited out a deadly MST. Excellent!

So with Maid and Messenger we have a lot of Spell / Trap Tutoring power now, which is what the deck needed!

She's searchable by Magileine and sangan.

Maid is fairly decent, she will most likely survive one turn allowing for a Queen summon next turn. That being said, I would personally only play 1 or 0. She allows for stalling but a lot of stalling doesn't get you any where.

Run 0-1.

Spectral Joker

Madolche Card Review - Madolche Messengelato

First off the bat is Royal Messenger of Madolche's, who's mail isn't junk at all. I give you the deliver of all our sweet cards - Madolche Messengelato.

Madolche Messengelato
Attribute EARTH
Types Warrior/Effect
Level ****
ATK/DEF 1600/1000

When this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into the Deck. When this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Madolche" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You must control a Beast-Type "Madolche" monster to activate and resolve this effect.

So his stats are pretty decent for a Madolche. Boosting 1600Atk which soon becomes 2100Atk when he running his rounds inside the Madolche Chateau.

He can be hit by bottomless, but normally you should only summoning this guy via Special Summon and getting a +1 from his summon. So a BTH is a -1 for your Opponent.

Now lets talk about that +1 he gives. Spell and Trap tutoring in Yugioh is very powerful. Very powerful. With the theme needing their field spell so bad, this guy is our answer.

Now it's not just the field spell he can grab. He can grab:

Madolche Tea Break
Madolche Manners
Madolche Waltz

And the new additions from this set:

Madolche Ticket
Madolchepaloza

Main two cards your want to be searching with him is the Field Spell and Ticket, more about ticket in the post to come.

Now how to spell summon him? Well the obvious way comes with Mew in the previous set. These two combo the best.
Other ways are Monster Reborn (If he was used for Synchro Summon, Xyz material or if you destroyed him) and the other way is via M-X-Saber Invoker. Both these ways is only doable if you still control a Beast-Type Madolche. Remember that!

He also searchable himself by Madolche Magileine and Reinforcement of the Army.

First card and wow. This guy brings power. He makes Butlerusk job seem slightly pointless. By having bigger stats and an activation conduction which is actually easier to pull off.

In any build run 3 with 3 Kitten. You won't be disappointed by the work this guy puts in.

Hunder Family Card Review - Thunder Seahorse

Thunder Seahorse
LV4 LIGHT Thunder/Effect
1600/1200
You can discard this card; add 2 Level 4 LIGHT Thunder-Type Monsters with 1600 ATK or less and the same name from your Deck to your hand. The effect of “Thunder Seahorse” can only be activated once per turn, and you cannot Special Summon during this turn.

This card is really good and makes this archtype in my opinion. It may seem a bit terrible with how restrictive it can be. With 6 restrictions on it, this card has been held down with a heavy weight.
What if I were to tell you, this card is the best opener for this deck? Don't believe me? You soon will.

Lets have a look, like I mention before it can recuit all the Hunder family members. Having two Pas or two Mas is awesome with one other Pa / Ma. Three monsters to the board and instant Shockmaster?
Sadly you need to play this card the turn before because of the no special summon rule, but hey can't have it all. The other thing is that Thunder Sea Horse can search it's self.

So search both, next turn get two mas and then two pas. Dump four cards to the field in one go. Excellent!

Hes a bit bigger than the family, Bottomless hits him. But you won't be summoning him to the field. You can discard him and summon sis on the same turn adding him back. Netting a nice +2 that turn.

Basically this guy makes Thunders playable.

Run 3.

Hunder Family Card Review - Sishunder

Sishunder
LV4 LIGHT Thunder/Effect
900/400

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 4 LIGHT Thunder-Type monster with 1600 or less ATK in your Graveyard, except "Sishunder"; banish that target. During the End Phase of this turn, add that card to your hand.

The last of the family is their daughter. She is a floater when it comes down to it and if her plus anyone of her Parents come to the field. Then
you can make a instant rank 4 and get a card back during end phase. Yes thats right, she doesnt have to be on the field during the end phase and
can even be used for a xyz summon and her effect will still happen!

She can also be recuited by Thunder Seahorse and Recycling batteries.

She can get back Thunder Seahorse, Pa, Ma and various Batterymen cards. She allows for you to set up next turns combos with Ma and Pa, or additional searching
with Seahorse. She is really good. Her stats are small, so make sure to use her for an Xyz before ending your turn!

Run 2 (3 is a bit dead)

Hunder Family Card Review - Mahunder

Mahunder
LV4 LIGHT Thunder/Effect
1400/700
Once per turn: You can Normal Summon 1 Level 4 LIGHT Thunder-Type Monster from your hand in Attack position, except “Mahunder”.

Dont worry this is not a mistyping, her effect is the exact same as her husbands. I did say these guys like to work together.
So if you summon Pa, then Ma, you can then summon a second Pa from Ma's effect and contiune till you dont have any Ma or Pas left in hand.

So even tho she can't bring more copies of herself to the field, she can bring Pa whom can bring more of her. Teamwork!

Ultimate offering saids hi? But still, other than how she and Pa can normal summon spam, nothing much else to say. She has a few more points than
Pa, but still small enough to be recuited by Thunder Seahorse and Recycling batteries. Also able to dogde Bottomless Trap Hole.

(Run 3.)

Hunder Family Card Review - Pahunder

Today we are going to be looking at the family of Thunder,
support for them and my opinions on them.

I will start by saying that these guys are rather amazing with
the support you can use for them and if your deck is built
right then you can do some amazing plays with them.

Let's start with the Father of the family:

Pahunder
LV4 LIGHT Thunder/Effect
1300/600
Once per turn: You can Normal Summon 1 Level 4 LIGHT Thunder-Type Monster from your hand in Attack position, except “Pahunder”.

The effect may seem a bit lack luster, but trust me when these guys work as a family: a lot of summons can happen in a turn.
You can't use the effect for any Pahunders, but worry not. As the next card helps us summon more copies of Pa.

This guy is searchable via Thunder Seahorse and can be added back with Recycling Batteries. Hes small enough to dodge bottomless
trap hole. His effect allows for instant rank 4 plays.

(Run 3.)

If this card is Special Summoned by this effect, banish it when it leaves the field. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a WATER monster. The effect of "Fishborg Launcher" can only be activated once per turn.

So there's some of them to have a read. Not the best exclusives we have had in a while, but no Madolche's makes me sad.

Yugioh Create a Card #1

Yugioh Create a Card:

Madolche's are my top pick when it comes deck choices. I like the theme and how they work.

So like most players, I wish for Konami to make certain cards to help Madolche's. With Abyss Rising just around the corner I am hoping for a decent TCG exclusive Madolche card to help the dolls out.

So I got to thinking. What would I like to see most? Well here's my own create a card for them. The Madolche Chef!

Madolche Cheffle
EARTH - Warrior - **** - 1200 ATK / 2000 DEF

When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into your Deck. While this card is face-up on the field, once per turn during your Main Phase, you can Normal Summon a "Madolche" monster in addition to your Normal Summon or Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.)

This sort of effect has been appearing a lot as of late. Atlans, Firestars and of course Karakuris are examples, of which, that have a card that does what this exactly does.

Why do I want an additional normal summon of all things?

Well it makes Bulterusk more runnable. Meaning more search power for the ever needed field spell. It allows for instant Queen plays and other rank fours plays. Being a wall makes it a good first turn set too.

So that's what I would like greatly for the Archtype. Are they are effects you would like for your decks? And what you think of the idea?

Underrated Cards of Yugioh: #2 Karakuri Muso mdl 818 "Haipa"

Today we will be looking at an originally TCG exclusive Karakuri card; Karakuri Muso mdl 818 "Haipa" to be exact.

Karakuri Muso mdl 818 "Haipa" - **** - Earth ATK 2100 / DEF 1100

This card must attack if able. When this face-up Attack Position card is selected as an attack target, change it to Defense Position. If this card attacks, change it to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase.

So it has the first wave of Karakuri effect that it switches them when selected in ATK mode. Plus the standard effect it must attack.

Now it's second effect looks bad, that after it attacks it goes to def, but it has its uses and it makes it a secretly good card.

First it's a 2100 ATK target searchable via the Synchros Boss Karakuris and Karakuri Cash Cashe!

Karakuri Cash Cashe
Normal Spell
Select 1 face-up "Karakuri" monster you control. Add 1 Level 4 or lower "Karakuri" monster from your Deck to your hand, and change the battle position of the selected monster.

Being 2100 ATK means he's a easy out to Thunder King and Doom Caliber Knight. Both which hurt Karakuris a fair bit.

If your opponent has Skill Drain active you throw down this guy and he just a 2100 vanilla monster. Which can be deadly as most skill drain decks have only 1900 ATK monsters.

Haipa can also trigger Karakuri Bureido effect to draw a card, after it attacks. Meaning if Haipa does die due to its low Def at least you gained an extra card so you don't lose any advantage.

Lastly is under Limiter Removal he is 4200 ATK. Which is over half your opponents life points. He can make Limiter really deadly.

That's about it for this card. Try teching one in your Karakuri builds. You won't be disappointed.

Till next time, Spectral Joker signing off.

How to YuGiOh - 2# Karakuri / Geargia OTK

Welcome to the second instalment of How to YuGiOh. Today I will be covering a OTK combo in a Karakuri / Geargia deck!

I will post the deck list I use for this combo so you can see what to play. Now the combo:

You will need a set Gearia Armor that you can flip this turn, so:

1. Flip Summon Geargia Armor, add Geargia Accelrator, then special summon Accelrator, then set Armor back down.
2. Normal summon a 3 or 4 star tuner. Synchro the tuner and Accelrator to make either Burei/Bureido. Depending on the tuners level.

Now the combo slips two paths:
3. Burei Path: Special Summon Karakuri Seizan, ( 4 star tuner ) Bureido Path: fetch Karakuri Nishipachi ( 3 star tuner )
4. Use Burei or Nishipachi effect to flip Armor, then add another Accelrator and special summon it.
5. Depending on what tuner you have make Burei/Bureido with the Nishipachi or Seizan and Armor, have your synchro summon a second Seizan.
6. Make another Bureido with Seizan and Accelrator.

7. Now summon either a Nishipachi or Ninja from your deck. With Nishipachi make him turn himself to draw two from Bureido. Or if you didn't use Bureis Effect earlier then use it to turn Ninja from def for your two draw!

There you go guys! Just one combo these guys can make. If you add a Machina Fortress you can make a big eye to steal anything standing in your way.

There's one combo for you guys. You can do the same combo with Bird man you need to special summon a accel and bounce him for Bird man and summon accel back again!

=================================================

Thats the deck list for you, now lets talk about some of the choices I have picked.

Monsters
Madolche Butlerusk at one is more than enough, you have pot of dualitys in the deck to help search for the field spell and you have Marmamaid to recycle the field in case it dies. Hes still a good beat and the plus he brings is a fun extra.
Madolche Cruffsant is great, his effect is simple but amazing. He becomes 2300 under the field and one use of his effect, remember he can bounce the field spell for his effect allowing you to reuse an active Chateau first effect. He combos with Mewfeuille well, as he can send Mewfeuille back to protect your life points, also he makes rank 3 and 4s easier.
Madolche Magileine is the searcher of the deck and has to be at 3. She gives advantage each turn and with the field spell up can just come back and back. Her + Ultimate Offering allows OTK plays, much like Gadgets do.
Madolche Marmamaid 2500 Def wall? Even laggia or Machine Fortress can't get over this, plus it gives a spell or trap Madolche card back to you. Recycle a field, a ticket or even a happy festa for a OTK push. She is good at 2 and should be main in all Madolche decks.
Madolche Messengelato he does what Butlerusk does and he has 100 more ATK, so we run three to get our Field card and Ticket for advantage. Messengelato needs Mewfeuille or Festa for his effect, but we have Magileine for searching so don't worry, his effect isn't awkward at all.
Madolche Mewfeuille for swarming power, leads to Rank 3 plays, Messengelato Searching and combos with Cruffsant. He is good and you can tech one Puddingcess, minus 1 Veiler, as we are playing three.
Effect Veiler hurts most decks and is always nice to have in a deck.

Spells
Book of Moon defensive or offensive card, does a load of things. Stops attacks, get over a big monster by hitting it's defensive, stop a synchro or a XYZ play. The other thing it does here is reset Marmamid if you need a spell or trap back.
Dark Hole is Dark Hole, it clears the board and allows you to push. Remember, your Madolche won't get their effect's if you Dark Hole them. Only Opponent card's make them bounce.
Pot of Duality for search power, to get the Field Spell or to get our Madolche pieces into play. Always a good card.
Madolche Chateau there field spell, needed at 3. No excuses.
Madolche Ticket only playing two, because you can only trigger one of them per turn due to the wording of the card. So drawing multi-copies is dead and you can search / recycle them easily. Combos wells with Queen and Cruffsant.
Mystical Space Typhoon running triple as we don't play Heavy Storm, I don't main it due to needing the Field Spell constantly. You may play the Heavy as you do have enough recycle, I just dislike it.

Traps
Compulsory Evacuation Device chainable trap, hurts xyz's and synchros. Can be used on your Madolches to save them from something. Dimension Prison or BLS?
Madolche Happy Festa this card leads to OTKs, Madolche love to keep hands full of monsters. Basically spam to the field with this card and make XYZ plays to save the Madolches from disappearing. Recycle it when needed with Marmamaid or search with Messengelato.
Madolche Lesson to recycle Madolches used for XYZ's and as an added plus you can send back an Effect Veiler to the deck to use later on again.
Solemn Judgment and Solemn Warning makes the solemn brigade. No explanations needed.
Torrential Tribute anti-swarm and helps clears the board for OTK pushes, remember as it's your card you will not be able to bounce back your Madolches.
Ultimate Offering allows for OTK with Magileine searching for multiple copies of it self whilst sending copies back to the deck with the Chateau.
Starlight Road for protection as with the format there is currently two Mirror Forces, two Torrential Tributes,  Dark Hole, Heavy Storm.

That is about it for my choices on what I played and why. The extra deck is simple, just most staples and standard Rank 3 and 4s as well. Stardust is there for Starlight Road. Madolche Tiaramisu is the star of the Extra Deck. She triggers Ticket and clears the field for your pushes.

Side Deck Choices:
[2] Gozen Match - Good side against Wind-Ups, Six Sams and Dino.Rabbit. As all the Madolches are Earth, so you don't have to worry.
[2] Shadow Imprisoning Mirror - Good against Dark Worlds and Inzektors.
[2] Royal Decree - Good against Chain Burn, Count Down and Heros. The deck is trap heavy, but all your monsters are beefy. With Decree you can turn the game into a struggle match.
[1] The Transmigration Prophecy - Good against Wind-Ups, Dark Worlds, Heros and Inzektors. Especially good against Heros as you can remove their Miracle Fusion targets from grave so they have to fuse using their field and it helps with Madolches as well.
[1] System Down - Good side for Machines once more, I find Machine Fortress is a tough wall for this deck and extra removal works great for Madolches.
[2] Gemini Imps - Good side for Dark Worlds, stop their draw cards and they stop. I would suggest these in most decks this format.
[2] Maxx "C" - Good counter against Wind-Ups, drawing into extra outs and puts them on pause. Good against Six Sams (( Knowing when they will drop Grandmaster and Kizan )) too and Rabbit it can get +1 off when they use Rabbit as they will need to use the Dinos they fetch otherwise they will just lose cards.
[2] Cyber Dragons - Good for Stun Matches and Machina / Gadget Match-Ups.
[1] D.D. Crows - Good against Wind-Ups, Dark Worlds, Heros and Inzektors.

And this is my take on the deck, so feel free to try out the deck and let me know what you guys think of the deck. I hope I have explained the deck well enough for you guys to be able to just pick up the deck and play it. Any questions about the deck just leave a comment and I'll get back to you. :)

How to YuGioH: 1# Naturia Grandsoil Combo

To go with my reviews of Archtypes, Broken and Unrated cards, I will be doing short guides on how to combo with certain decks or any combo that could be played.

To start with is a combo I jokingly thought up and is comical if it happens.

Easy second turn Grandsoil plus protection:

You need:
- 1 Set Naturia Cherries
- 1 Level 4 Earth Monster in hand
- 1 Grandsoil in hand

A second requirement is that you need the cherries to be destroyed and keep the other two alive till your turn. Plus 0 earths in grave before the first cherries dies. So you must have two cherries on the field when starting.

During your turn:
- Summon the level 4 EARTH monster from your hand.
- Flip a cherries and synchro to Natuia Beast.
- Flip a second cherries. Synchro Beast and Cherries for Naturia Barkion.
- [if no Earths in grave before cherries died] Special summon Grandsoil and get Beast back.

End field Beast, Grandsoil and Barkion.

It's a silly combo and not practical, but I found it fun to do in fun matchs.

So you get an idea of what I will do with each combo. In future I will talk about weakness and ways I help the combo happen, but till next time.

Broken Cards of Yugioh - 1# W Nebula Meteorite

In counter part to the underrated cards of Yugioh section I run on here I will also run a broken card section.

In this section I will talk about broken cards in the game. I won't just be like: IT'S BROKEN. I will try to explain why it is.

First card we are going to look at is a trap card for the Wurm Archtype. Lets start the invasion of the W Nebula Meteorite!

W Nebula Meteorite
Trap Card
Change all face-down monsters on the field to face-up Defense Position. During the End Phase this turn, change all face-up LIGHT Reptile-Type monsters you control to face-down Defense Position, then draw 1 card for each. After that, you can Special Summon 1 Level 7 or higher LIGHT Reptile-Type monster from your Deck.

(Any cards mention when talking in this article will be posted at the end for effects)

So yeah. This card is broken! I'm kidding with you, I said I would explain why these cards are.

So why is this card broken?
• It can be a defensive or offensive Combo card
• It can give you huge pluses
• It brings a big boss to the field

Lets talk about the flipping up part of the effect. This card can trigger a worm monster the turn it was set. (In case you didn't know a lot of the worm revile around being flipped for their effects)

Cards such as Worm Yagen and Worm Apocalypse are both cards that give easy +1s. Now if you had these two set you can flip them with this card to trigger them, or you can even flip them during your opponents turn with this card to cause disruption to their plays!

So this card speeds up your plays and disrupts your opponents. Lets look at the next part.

Flipping face up down only affects your worm monsters, meaning after your worms strike they can get ready again. So if you use this card during your opponents you can gain the pluses from your worms and have them reset for your next turn! Making your monsters become +2s! Now for every monster affect by this effect you get to draw.

Now if we say your opponent has 1 Synchro and 1 Xyz with two backrow and you have this trap with Yagan and Apocalypse. Using this card during their end phase will net you 2 draws and 2 removal then if you flip your dudes again during your turn you have gained +5 for the cost of one card.

Now the last effect:
This trap card replaces itself by bringing out a Worm boss monster, namely either their King or Queen. Both of which are game changers and from a card with no cost, they are amazingly easy to summon.

So hopefully you can see why I think this card is broken and what it does for worms. After this card came out worms started topped various places. Just another reason that proves why this card is too good!

Well that's all for this instalment I hope you enjoyed it and saw it insightful.

Till next time, this is Spectral Joker signing off.

Underrated cards of Yugioh - 1# Naturia Bamboo Shoot

Welcome to a next segment of my blog; where I talk about cards that I feel are unrated in YuGiOh and what they bring to the game.

The first card I want to talk about is Natruia Bamboo Shoot.

Naturia Bamboo Shoot
EARTH - Plant - ***** - ATK 2000 / DEF 2000
If this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Naturia" monster, while this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards

First up is Bamboo Shoot's stats. It stands at 2000 on each stat which is a bit weak for a one tribute monster .

You only get its effect when you tribute summon it and you have to tribute a Naturia Monster. So playing card means you need to runs some sort of Naturia engine in the deck. I suggest Naturia Cliff and Naturia Cherries, which replace themselves and survive normally the one turn you need for the tribute summon.

Now lets talk about his effect: your opponent cannot activate spell or trap cards. That's right they cannot play anything of them, no Counters unless its to the summon of Bamboo.

If you can push them into a corner before dropping this then you make any lucky top decks of their pointless.

No Monster Reborn, Heavy Storm, Dark Hole, Mirror Force or Torrential Tribute.

Also Bamboos stops the common back row hate from being played. Mst, Heavy or Decree. So your backrow is rather protected.

Sadly effect monsters and higher ATK monster hurt this card, such as Effect veiler make this card dead. So a good suggestion to run with this card is Safe Zone. That way Bamboo is protected to the up most from nearly everything.

Earlier game this card causes problem for Six Sams, Chain Burn and Final Countdown. Chaos Dragons is a problem deck due to the high mini boss monster count it runs and Gearia are tough as well, but supported correctly this card can still be a problem to almost anyone.

I hope you enjoyed this segment of my blog, I hope to do more of them.

Till then, this is Spectral Joker signing off.

Madolche Card Summary

So that's all the TCG Madolche cards done. The deck right now is a tier 2 deck in my opinion. Played right it can do well, but it's lacking a few potential cards to make it a tier 1 deck.

Right now, focus on Puddingcess builds. As its their current boss monster and she is powerful, but maybe a little slow this format.

But be patience. With Abyss Rising we will get the cards to make Madolche complete. Once we have those cards, Madolche will be tier 1 in my eyes.

The theme, the artwork and tactics for this deck are great. This is a fun, competitive deck and I look forward to how well they do.

In my next few posts I will talk about some tech cards for Madolche, but till then:

This is Spectral Joker signing off, peace.

(Here is some fan art of the whole Madolche order. Notice the additional monsters not covered yet. ;) )

Madolche Card Review - Manners

Time to look at the last card for this Archtype currently in the TCG. Its time to take some time out and have a Madolche Lesson!

Trap Card
Target 1 "Madolche" monster in your Graveyard; Shuffle that target into your Deck, and if you do, all "Madolche" monsters you currently control gain 800 ATK and DEF, then you can shuffle 1 other monster from your Graveyard into the Deck.

Now this trap card of theirs actually has some use, but its full potential may have yet to be reached till the next set.

Unlike some of the pervious cards, this card actually wants Madolche in the graveyard. It also rewards you for having extra monsters in the graveyard too.

The ATK and DEF boost from this card is also permeant. So you can make Puddingcess 3100 ( Her effect and Chateau) while clearing out your graveyard of monsters too!

The last part of effect clears out any monster. So you can put XYZs and Synchros back to your extra deck or powerful monsters such as Gorz or Effect Veiler back to the deck!

So as you may of worked out, thanks to this card non-Madolche cards are variable in Puddingcess builds.

I would run 2 in most builds.

Madolche Card Review - Tea Break

Next up is the counter trap of the theme, so put your feet up and take a load off whilst I explain to you the Madolche Tea Break!

Trap - Counter
When a Spell/Trap card is activated, if you have no monsters in your Graveyard: Negate the activation, and if you do, return it to the hand, then, if you control a face-up "Madolche Puddingcess", you can destroy 1 card your opponent controls.

This card is okay at best. If it just negated and didn't bounce the card I would suggest playing 1-2.

This card does have some uses, let's talk about cards you want to negate with this card.
For spells you want to negate spells with a cost, namely ones with certain named costs ( For example; Solar Recharge ) because your opponent may not have another named cost to use with that spell, by doing this you do not lose card advantage. Other spell cards you want to negate are quick-play spells used during your turn by your opponent. This way your opponent cannot use them as he will need to reset them again.

Same goes for trap cards. By negating traps that have a cost your opponent will have to to pay the cost again. Some examples of traps you want to negate are: solemn judgment, solemn warning and seven tools of the bandit.

You can also negate cards that will allow you to go for game. Such as Torrential Tribute and Mirror Force.

Negating any trap that will cause your opponent to reset the trap and use it on your next turn.

This card only becomes a 141 trade if you control a Maldolche Puddingcess.

You can also use this card on your own spells or traps to use this added effect.

The negative points of this card is that you have to have no monsters in your graveyard to use this card. This means you cannot play Synchros, XYZ or hand traps monsters with this card too easily.

Non-Puddingcess Builds 0
Puddingcess Builds 0-1

Madolche Card Review - Waltz

It's time to look at some of the trap support we have for the Madolche.

So let's step right into it with the Madolche Waltz!

Trap Card - Continuous
Each time a "Madolche" monster you control attacks or is attacked, after damage calculation: Inflict 300 damage to your opponent.

Only a few things can be said about this card.

Main one being the card doesn't help the Archtype really. 300 burn for each battle including a Madolche isn't much.
It can add up to a lot, but it doesnt gain you anything and is dead without your monsters.

The other point is that it can be used for a otk.

The OTK is as followed:

Two Chouxvalier, one on the Field and one in hand.
Chateau active on the Field.
Waltz active on the Field.
Desperate Tag active on the Field.

Your opponent with a Monster that had 2201 ATK or more.

Desperate Tag is as followed:

Trap - Continuous
If a face-up Attack Position monster you control is destroyed by battle, during damage calculation, you can reduce the Battle Damage from this battle to 0 and Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your hand at the end of the Damage Step.

You basically slam your Chouxvalier into the monster and with tag you take no damage, then special summon the second Chouxvalier out from your hand.

Now because you battled, Waltz triggers and deals 300 damage. Also Chateau will trigger and return Chouxvalier back to your hand instead of your deck.

As Tag doesn't have a once per turn limit on it, you can do above over and over till you have burnt their life points away.

The combo is far fetched but has been done many times. So it's worth noting.

If your going to make your deck based on this combo play 2-3, otherwise play 0.

Madolche Card Review - Baaple

This is the last of the current TCG Beast-Type Madolche monsters in the Archtype.

The Flock of Plushies with Cotton Candy as fur: Baaple!

Madolche Baaple
EARTH - Beast - *** - ATK 0 / DEF 1800
When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into your Deck. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Attack Position "Madolche" monster you control and 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls; if both monsters are still on the field, change them to face-up Defense Position, and if you do, the ones changed by this effect cannot have their battle positions changed until the end of your opponent's next turn.

Due to this cards stats and effect he is a stall / wall card for the Madolche. With Chateau up he's a 2300 DEF wall.

His effect can let your weaker Madolche get over high ATK, low DEF boss monsters. Or stall their high attack monsters for a turn whilst you build up a plan.

Remember Baaple can target himself, so just normal summon him and put him into defence, ready to wall your opponent.

He combos well with Mewfeuille. Allowing for rank *** plays if you summon Baaple via Mewfeuille. Plus the use of Baaples effect, you can make sure your XYZ will be able to hit whatever monster you want.

I personality think this card is great! Being a *** gives easier XYZ and battle position changing is a string tactical play.

I would run 2 of him!

Madolche Card Review - Chouxvalier

Time to look at the Captain of the Chateau Cake Guard: The Knight of Sweets and Cake: Chouxvalier!

Madolche Chouxvalier
EARTH - Warrior - **** - ATK 1700 / DEF 1300
When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into your Deck. Your opponent cannot target face-up "Madolche" monsters you control for attacks, except "Madolche Chouxvalier".

Honestly, there's nothing too special about this guy.
He is the biggest beater the theme has to offer. Standing at 2200 ATK for a normal summon under Chateau. That recycles on defeat, his effect isn't as great as his beating stats.

You can search him with RotA. Which is a nice.

He can protect Mewfuillel after you use it's effect to special summon this card, due his effect. Giving your weak Madolche some protection. Sadly due to wording Chouxvalier, he can not create an attack lock with two of them on the field.

I would run 1-2, he doesn't add much other that a big beat stick.

Madolche Card Review - Mewfeuille

The next card is the first of the Madolche Beast-Type Monsters.

Like most recent Archtype, this is Madolche's own Marauding Captain.

So the Cat Plushie with the Purrrfect plan on getting out Puddingcess: Mewfeuille!

Madolche Mewfeuille - EARTH - Beast- *** - ATK 500 / DEF

When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into your Deck. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Madolche" monster from your hand.

With the field spell out this little guy is... still very little, only standing at 1000 ATK. His effect makes up for this. When you normal summon him, he brings a second Madolche to the party!

Sadly this doesn't trigger Magileine or Butlerusk, but it does allow you to being out Puddingcess without putting a Madolche in the grave for Puddingcess tribute!

Being *** means you will need one of the other *** Beast Madolche in hand for some XYZ plays. You can make Soul of the Silver Moutain easily this way!

Also remember, as he's weak. He will get attacked; if you have your Chateau up then he will go back to your hand ready for next turn to bring someone else out!

This guy also combos well with the other beasts in the set and our next Monster we will review!

Madolche Card Review - Butlerusk!

Next up is our theme field searcher. This deck depends on Chateau a lot, so lets our Butler of Cakes help us build - Butlerusk!

Madolche Butlerusk - EARTH - Spellcaster - **** - ATK 1500 / DEF 800

When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into your Deck. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 Field Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. There must be another face-up "Madolche" monster on the field to activate and to resolve this effect.

So basically like Magileine you normal summon him and search ANY field spell. So not just Chateau, only thing that seems reasonable other than Chateau is Secret Village of the Spellcasters.

Draw back time; guessing because this card could be tech in any deck needing terraforming (As its a terraforming with a body, that recycles) you need a Madolche present on field.
Without the field there it's hard to keep your dolls about, so Butlerusk is tricky to pull off.

Other than his effect, he's a 2000ATK beater that goes back to the hand under Chateau, that pluses when normal summon. He's good, when you have a Chateau already present, but additional copies of the field can't hurt when this deck loves their field spell.

Same as Magileine; ****, rank 4 xyz plays and access to a Barkion play with Striker.

I would run 1-2 (Terraforming with him is okay)

Madolche Card Review - Chateau

Time to look at the Kingdom of cakes and puddings!

Our first two monsters may of bee weak, but this card really does take the cake!

The delicious Kingdom of Madolche - Chateau!

Field Spell Card

When this card is activated: Shuffle all "Madolche" monsters in your Graveyard into the Deck. All "Madolche" monsters on the field gain 500 ATK and DEF. If a monster(s) in your Graveyard would be returned to the Deck by the effect of a "Madolche" monster, you can add it to your hand instead.

I'll give a second to tune back in, this card did blow my mind a little...

Firstly; it shuffles all Madolche Monsters back to your deck. Madolche aren't meant to die, so this is your fail safe button.

This allows Puddingcess to get her own personal boost in ATK and DEF, use the field spell after tributing a monster!
Plus enables some support cards to be live. Remember non-Madolche monsters aren't affected!

Magileine can search for any of the cards shuffled back. Plus another of their support cards.

Secondly; it makes them all 500 ATK and 500 DEF bigger! So Puddingceas sits on 2300 with her own effect and Magileine on 1900! These monsters are starting to shape up. Most of them become big beaters or big walls under this card, much like Gravekeepers.

Lastly; the best effect ever. This effect turns all their return to deck effects to return to hand instead. Yes back to your hand.

Meaning; any card removal cards are now a -1 for your opponent. Dark Hole, TT, Mirror Force are all -1s now.

Magileine jumps back to the hand for more Searches. Puddingcess pops a card and heads back to the hand, just to come back for more pudding beat down!

Any monster will be around constantly and there's nothing much your opponent can do about it!

This effect will be noted to all future cards in these reviews. As it really important for them!

I would run 3.

Madolche Card Review - Magileine

Next up is Puddingcess' Rival the wicked witch of the deserts; Magileine!

Madolche Magileine - EARTH - Spellcaster - **** - ATK 1400 / DEF 1200

When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into your Deck. When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned: You can add 1 "Madolche" monster from your Deck to your hand.

The next card of the Archtype is the Stratos of deck.

When summoned; excluding Special Summon, you can add any Madolche monster to hand. Including herself! So getting Puddingcess is a breeze and setting up is easy.

Her stats are a bit low, but with a majority of the beaters of the deck being **** too, you can make a xyz play easy or add a TG Striker to the mix for a Barkion that gave you a +1.

I would run 3.

With their next card I'll review this cards true power.

Madolche Card Review - Puddingcess

First bunch of posts I am going to do is a Archtype review from the latest set.

Now let's get to it: The Dolls of Pudding and Puns! Madolche!

Before we review our first card; let's talk about the effect all Madolche's have:

When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into your Deck.

All their monsters have this effect; this effect is rather important as it combos with their support cards.

Some support of theirs needs no monsters in your graveyard to use, whilst other shuffle back Madolche Monsters from your graveyard to deck.
So don't worry they have good graveyard management.

Only way your getting monsters in your graveyard is by: XYZ, Synchro, Tributing, Milling or Sending / costs. Some say avoid the above; but like I mention they shuffle stuff out of their graveyard easily.

First up we have the Princess of Pudding aka the Madolche's Boss Monster.

Madolche Puddingcess
EARTH - Fairy - ***** - ATK 1000 / DEF 1000
When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into your Deck. While you have no monsters in your Graveyard, this card gains 800 ATK and DEF. After damage calculation, when this card battles an opponent's monster: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target.

Boss Monster? Yes Boss Monster. Okay 1000 on both stats many not be Boss Monster materials, but she is very powerful. Firstly she gains 800 ATK and DEF when you have no monsters in grave, Madolche shuffle back to the deck effect works well here, making her 1800 on each.

Now when she battles, by being attack or by attacking; she can destroy 1 card on the field regardless if she survived the battle or not. So if she gets ran over by something bigger; you can pop it. She triggers the same time as flip effects do.

A few of the Madolche support cards either need a Puddingcess on the field or a fairy type Madolche to be there. Well Puddingcess is a fairy.

She is ***** meaning you can play some rank 5s in your extra deck. One draw back is that she is one tribute and tributing for her puts a monster in your graveyard.
A large counterproductive point about her right there... But don't worry, we can get around that.

I would run 2-3 in a deck. She is really good.

I'll start my turn by using this!

Welcome everyone to my Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG blog. I am Spectral Joker, I have played this game for almost 6 years. I started around the time of Yata-Control and have played up to the present date.

My main interest in Yu-Gi-Oh is judging. I have staffed a few YCSs across Europe, Uk Nationals and even Worlds 2011.

I have made this blog to post my ideas and opinions on the game, hopefully to give my readers ideas on their decks or just to entertain people with my odd ideas.

Feel free to message me at: Josepheaston90@live.com to give feedback or suggestions what you want to see me cover in my posts.

Till then SJ signing off.
